Blog Hiatus Day 2

This is my dog Asimov, a ~2 year old Irish setter.

This is where he sits when I’m working.

He’s kinda the light of my life (don’t laugh–I don’t have kids). I’m an introvert to the extreme, but he’s my constant companion.

Plus he’s just so darn cute–can you resist that puppy face?

I have 2 cats too! They’re incredibly grumpy and spoiled…but I suppose all cats are. ;)

I’m the same with my.two feline ‘peeps’ one follows me around like a puppy & tries to ‘help’me when I’m working on the laptop-my lap cat.
    But Asimov is soooo cute! My crit group sends mental thought waves to speed your recovery of your work. :}

Well, thanks to your crit group, Jan!! And my cats would love to be let in my office, but they’re forbidden–they dominate the desk and leave hair everywhere!!

Oh my goodness, that first picture made me LOL. I love how he’s sitting up in the chair like that! Asimov is adorable!

I love dogs. I’m such a dog person. They’re the best companions, aren’t they?

Asimov definitely thinks he’s human. And yes, dogs are totally the best. (The Frenchman has promised me I can get another dog as soon as we move, so….fingers crossed we move soon! I grew up with 4+ dogs all the time–one just isn’t enough!!) :D

I love the picture of him sitting in the chair. It’s like he saw something that blew his mind.

And I totally understand the love of the pup. I’m like that with my 2 cats.

I just like that he’s sitting in a chair. It’s all, “Why yes, I am a human. Don’t think so? Just wait until I lift the toilet seat lid. PS: Let’s go for a walk.”

I WANT A DOG. I iz so jealous, but it just wouldn’t work. I don’t have enough yard space, and I’m not home enough to take care of one. :( But someday I will get a small yippy dog and a super big boundy dog, neither of which shed much because SHEDDING DRIVES ME CRAZY, and I shall work close enough to home that I can take them for walks over lunch. Or I will work somewheres I can take the dogs with me. Or I will have a house husband. :)

Um, yeah…I vacuum almost everyday in my office ‘cos I’m so crazy about any hair in my workplace. The rest of the house gets a thorough vacuum weekly. It’s exhausting, but 2 hairy cats and a hairy dog? The clumps of hair that collect are literally like tumbleweed blowing across the floor. Drives me CRAZY.

Hahaha! you’re right–he does look a bit startled. And I’m so glad people understand my animal-obsession!

Everything Kat just said. Even down to the “work close enough to home so I can take them for walks over lunch”. Your puppy’s just TOO cute!

PS: Ever seen a horse sit? They actually do, you know.

HAHAHA. I’ve never seen that! It’s freakin’ awesome. Now I want all the horses in the farmyard next door to sit…

I love him sitting in the chair! That’s so adorable and hilarious. He’s saying, “Yes, you may take my picture. But I expect a treat after.”

    Susan Reply:

Oh, he definitely wants the treats. He knows where the raw-hides are in the office, so there are many longing glances at that general region every few minutes…
