The Cybils 2010

Nominations for the Cybil awards begin October 1st.

Wait — you don’t know what the Cybils are?  Well, it says it in the picture: Chidren’s and Young Adult Bloggers’ Literary Awards.

Essentially, we the people in order to form a more perfect union…  No wait, that’s the Declaration of Independence (why do I still have the memorized?  Grrr. ::waves fist at 8th grade history teacher::).

Take two.

We the readers get to nominate titles — one book per genre — and then the panels of judges select a winner!  Once a book has been nominated, it can’t be nominated again.  So all it takes is for YOU to fill out the nomination form come Oct. 1, 2010 to get those books you love on the list.  Self-published books are allowed, and anyone can nominate.

So, be sure to head here and nominate your favorite young adult and children’s books.
