Crits for Water: I write for clean water

An estimated 1 billion people on earth do not have access to clean water.

Over 5000 children under age 5 die each day from unsafe water.

But there’s something you can do about it.

On March 31st, my crit partner, the amazing Kat Brauer, will begin her 3-month campaign to RAISE MONEY FOR WATER.

She’s raising money with the help of authors, agents, and editors everywhere.  Writers bid for critiques from these authors/agents/editors, OR for every $1 you donate, Kat will critique 250 words.

Yes, Kat is donating her time to critiquing your work, and all you have to do is donate a few measly bucks to her charity.

Her goal? To raise $5000.

When? March 31st – June 31st

Who’s donating critiques?  Me (obviously!), Sara Kendall, Joanna Volpe, Sarah J. Maas, Sara Megibow, Janice Hardy–and that’s just naming a small few! You can see the ever-growing list here.

To learn more, head to the Crits For Water page.  And please, please, PLEASE help spread the word!  Tweet it, blog about it, Digg it, FB like it, WHATEVER.  Kat needs YOUR help to get the word out.  It won’t work if we don’t have writers willing to donate!

You tell me: will you participate?  Can you help spread the word?
