NaNoWriMo 2013, Week 1!
Remember this quote. We may only be starting NaNoWriMo, but it’s our daily 1667 words–or whatever we manage to eke out each day–that will get us to the full 50K. And then onward, to the end of the novel. And then even further beyond after that.
Just keep typing, keep dreaming, and keep shooting for those stars.
You got this. I promise you do.

Awesome post, Sooz! I love the quote and I love your inspiring words! It’s all about the little by little–even the smallest steps are bigger than imaginary ones. 🙂

SO TRUE! Imaginary steps are fun to dream up, but man can I be bad about follow through! It’s the actually tiny steps that eventually get me where I need to be. <3

Great graphic and PERFECT quote! I think it’s got to be the most accurate quote for where everyone is now with NaNo 🙂

Thank the writing gods for your posts, always telling me what I need to hear when I need to hear it! But I do have a question…How soon after finishing a manuscript should you know you love it/hate it/aren’t moved, either way by it?
I have about 5,000 words left until I’m done with my Holly-Lisle-revision-course draft, and I loved the first 14 or so chapters (I rewrote them all in under a month!) but now that I’m nearing the end, I’m worried I won’t love the manuscript when it’s finished.
Do you ever FEAR finishing a manuscript?!
