Spirit-Hunters website live!
I finally got around to creating a website for my novel, The Spirit-Hunters.
The Spirit-Hunters is a young adult novel set in a steampunk version of 1876 Philadelphia. Hauntings, inventions, and tough heroines abound.
I’ve been meaning to post the first chapter because people have expressed an interest in reading an excerpt or, at the very least, finding out more about the story. But, me being me, I couldn’t just put the darn words on a blank page. I had to build an entire site… So, two days after starting, I’m ready to share it with the world. I’ll be adding more when I find the time — historical pages that delve into the more fascinating aspects of 1876 like (like the Centennial Exhibition or the horrors of women’s fashion).
For now, enjoy. 🙂
Read about the main character, Eleanor Fitt.
Read the first chapter of The Spirit-Hunters.

P.S. If you’re an IE 7 or earlier user, I’m sorry, but the site won’t look quite right for you. Blame Microsoft for refusing to follow global browser standards. Give yourself a treat and download Firefox.
P.P.S. Monday I’m going to give you the lowdown on how I made the website (powered by WordPress) using all FREE resources.

Wow. The website looks great. As for your first chapter, I am very impressed. You are very talented! I love the story as I knew I would, and can’t wait to read all of it! Your research was solid, I really felt like I was back in the time it was set. It was believable.
Keep me updated! Best of luck with everything.
