NaNoWriMo Bootcamp Call for Help!
So, WOW guys. Since I put up the NaNoWriMo bootcamp form on Friday, hoping to get a feel for who might be interested, the form has blown up! Over 80 people had signed up last I checked–HOLLA!
Here’s where I could use YOUR help, though. If there really ARE going to be that many people possibly participating, things might get a little hairy for me–especially since I’ll be gone from Nov. 15 through December.
First call for help: Would anyone out there be interested in helping me moderate the forums? The duties would include:
- Starting a daily word count update thread from Nov. 15 onward
- Sharing bi-weekly links to my NaNoWriMo posts (on craft, motivation, etc.)
- Making sure people stay nice (I highly doubt that will be an issue…but you never know)
So…yeah. It’s not that much work! And if more than 1 person shows an interest, we can split up the duties. 🙂

Now, for my second call for help: A logo! I feel like we need a fun badge, but I’m all out of time to make something cool. If anyone has design experience and a cool idea for badge we can all “wear” online, then I’d love to see it!

I just found out about this and it sounds amazing! I signed up, and I’d love to help out as well doing moderating or something – I can’t do anything artsy, sorry 😀 It’ll be a great way for me to stay on task as well!
Also, you’re heading to Australia?!?! Wooo! I hope you have a wonderful time! Whereabouts are you travelling to when you are in this amazing country? Not that I’m bias or anything, but I hear Western Australia is the best place ever…. 😀

Alas–I’ll be in Eastern Australia. Sydney, Melbourne… 🙁 It’s where I have family/friends to stay with. But there will one day be FUTURE VISITS, right? And Western Australia, it shall be! 😉

Well that’s something then! 😀 Here’s to hoping you have a fab time over East! On the plus side, they have Starbucks, and we do not. 🙁 But still, we have better beaches. Another incentive to come again!
